Queensland

Queensland has a coastline stretching nearly 7,000km, and its’ most famous ‘landscape’ is actually underwater; the astonishing 2000km-long Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef system. On the mainland, amazing National Parks protect lush rainforests, sparkling lakes and wildlife. Foodie haunts such as Noosa, Cairns and Port Douglas are where you’ll find culinary rewards great and small, and you can taste some fine wine from the little-known Granite Belt wine region. The city of Cairns is a gateway to the reef and tropical Daintree Rainforest. The capital, Brisbane, is flanked by the surfing beaches of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

Get lost in a rainforest land before time; unwind on a beach in a tropical paradise; go under the sea on the one and only Great Barrier Reef; lose yourself in the starry skies of the outback; sail through the breeze on a yacht in The Whitsundays or soak up the sun on a legendary white sand beach.
